Kenya and Tanzania Game Lodges and luxury permanent tented camps in or close to the National Parks and Game Reserves are used in these itineraries, in addition to the "Tree Hotels" in the Aberdares, Mount Kenya, Taita Hills and Simba areas of Kenya. Central public buildings will generally be of wood and stone. Bedrooms may be incorporated in the main building, or be in individual cottages/ chalets or in the case of camps, may be spacious insect-proof tents. In almost all cases, bathrooms are ensuite and rooms are furnished with twin beds. Most Lodges have swimming pools. Tree Hotels have game viewing decks or verandas and are situated adjacent to floodlit waterholes. In warmer areas, Dining rooms and Bar areas may be open and airy. At higher, cooler altitudes, lodges are fully enclosed and may have long fire in the evening.

Kenya and Tanzania Luxury Tented Camps are generally smaller and more intimate than lodges and provides true safari style to a high standard of comfort and luxury. The tents are spacious and each has an en-suite bathroom with flush toilet and safari shower.

Kenya and Tanzania budget camping are based on a two person tent sharing with Foam Mattress provided but you need to provide sleeping bag to keep yourself warm.
