3 Day Safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro & Lake Manyara
Day 1: Arusha - Tarangire National Park
You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha town at 7:30 am and driven to Tarangire National Park for morning game drive. Tarangire is well known for its large elephant herds. From the open roof of the vehicle, you’ll be able to admire the views of seasonal swamps, grassy savannas and the Tarangire river. Look out for many animals including zebras, wildebeest, buffalos, elephants and giraffes. You may catch a glimpse of a lion stalking its prey or leopards relaxing in the trees. Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch. Enjoy further game viewing in the afternoon before driving to your accommodation, where you will check into the lodge and enjoy dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Tarangire - Ngorongoro Crater
Enjoy early breakfast at the lodge and depart with a packed lunch to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On arrival descent 2000 ft (670m) into the crater floor for full afternoon crater tour. The Ngorongoro Crater is inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa including the rare black rhino. It contains a river, several swamps, a lake, a forest and open plains. There are said to be over 30,000 animals living in the area that is naturally enclosed by the slopes of an old volcano. In the evening, enjoy dinner back at your lodge.
Day 3 : Ngorongoro Crater - Lake Manyara
After breakfast from your lodge, depart for a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, home to a range of wildlife including baboons, blue monkeys, over 350 species of birds and tree-climbing lions. In the afternoon, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Arusha or Arusha Airport with lovely memories.
