Most excellent experience - Ask for George!
We booked a 7 day safari with African Home Adventure Safaris. It was absolutely excellent.
The first thing I would say is that our driver, George, was A+++. He was very friendly, kind and knowledgeable. By the end he had earned the nickname Encyclopedia George. We would highly recommend requesting him.
First we went to Masai Mara. Amazing. This park had everything and we were just gobsmacked to see all of the animals!
We stayed at Enchoro wildlife camp for 2 nights as part of our 7 day safari. We had an excellent time.
Enchoro had everything we needed. The beds were good and having a bathroom in a tent felt very luxurious for us Aussies who are used to camping in the bush with 0 amenities.
The chef was great and was able to cater for my (rather complex) dietary requirements.
After Masai Mara we went to Nakuru. It was great, but the flamingos have pretty much left, so that is one thing that would have been nice to know in advance.
Next was Amboseli. Absolutely stunning. So many elephants and the watering hole that attracted so many animals was just wow.
On the way to Amboseli we picked up a chef named Kevin who made us delicious food and also took great care with my dietary requirements.
Overall this experience was amazing. Once in a lifetime and a must see!
