Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi- Lake Naivasha Hell’s Gate
Departure from Nairobi will be at 07:00am driving southwards via the Great Rift Valley view point where you will admire the escapement of the place. Arrive in Lake Naivasha around mid-morning and head over to Hells Gate National Park which is renowned for its dramatic landscapes, towering cliffs, gorges, geothermal features, hot springs, and steam vents, the park offers an adventurous atmosphere where visitors can explore the Hell’s Gate Gorge, climb Fischer’s Tower, or relax at the nearby Olkaria Geothermal Spa. One of the few parks in Kenya where visitors are allowed to walk or cycle among wildlife, Hell’s Gate provides a chance to spot zebras, buffalo, antelopes, and various bird species, including rare vultures and eagles.

After your tour at the Hells gate, leave the park and check in for your accommodation in time for lunch, after resting, continue your adventure to Cresent Island, You will access this Island through a boat ride. Enjoy a boat ride as you head over to the next destination.

Crescent Island, a wildlife sanctuary within Lake Naivasha, is known for its peaceful setting and the opportunity to walk among free-roaming animals. This island is a popular destination for walking safaris, where visitors can spot giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, and various antelope species up close. Day 2 : Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru National Park
Have breakfast at the lodge then depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive In Nakuru around mid-morning, head over to the lodge with safari game drive enroute if staying inside the park. After lunch, continue with an extensive afternoon game drive.

Lake Nakuru National Park is also home to a rich variety of wildlife and birdlife, including both black and white rhinoceros, lions, leopards, giraffes, and buffalo. The park's diverse ecosystems, ranging from open grasslands to dense woodlands, provide habitats for various species, making every safari drive an unforgettable adventure.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru National Pak - Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Depart Lake Nakuru early in the morning and head over to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Arrive in Ol Pejeta in the mid-morning for a game drive, other optional activities, include night drives to view nocturnal wildlife and guided bush walks for a closer look at the flora and fauna.

A visit to the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only one of its kind in Kenya, offers a unique opportunity to observe rescued chimpanzees. Rhino tracking experiences, lion tracking, and community visits add to the rich array of activities, making Ol Pejeta a prime destination for conservation enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a renowned wildlife sanctuary in Kenya, located on the Laikipia Plateau near Mount Kenya. As East Africa’s largest black rhino sanctuary, it plays a critical role in rhino conservation and is home to the last two northern white rhinos in the world.

Day 4: Ol pejeta Conservancy - Samburu Game Reserve
Depart Ol Pejeta Conservancy in the morning and head over to Samburu Game Reserve. Arrive in Samburu Game Reserve in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. Afternoon game drive in this reserve for its exclusive game viewing, you get to enjoy the final catch of the wildlife as they are out of their hides getting their dinner and sunbathing before dark, the sunset views in the reserve are also amazing at that time.

Samburu Game Reserve, set in the arid Northern Frontier District of Kenya, is inhabited by the Samburu people, pastoral relatives of the Maasai community. The reserve's dramatic landscape is defined by the Ewaso Nyiro River, which divides the area and provides water for crocodiles, hippos, and many animals during the heat of the day. Samburu Game Reserve offers opportunities to see iconic African wildlife like buffalo, lions, leopards, and cheetahs.

Day 5: Samburu Game Reserve (Full Day)
Begin your morning with breakfast at 6:00 a.m, then depart from the camp or lodge by 6:30 a.m., taking along a packed picnic lunch. Spend the entire day exploring Samburu Reserve, an off-the-beaten-path treasure where you can take in stunning scenery and a more secluded safari adventure. Throughout the day, you’ll have the chance to spot iconic wildlife such as buffalo, lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as rare species found only in Samburu Game Reserve, like the Beisa oryx, long-necked gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, and Somali ostrich. With more than 450 bird species, including the lesser kestrel, vulturine guinea fowl, and Taita falcon, Samburu is also a haven for bird lovers. In the afternoon, you can leave the reserve and visit nearby Samburu villages to experience the rich and colorful culture of the Samburu people firsthand, there is an option for you to split your game drives into two (2) You can choose to do morning game drive, break to your lodge for hot lunch and return again for an afternoon game drive. Day 6: Samburu Game Reserve - Nairobi City
Start your last day in Samburu with an early morning excursion, followed by a filling breakfast, before heading out on a final game drive. Say goodbye to the reserve as you journey back to Nairobi through the central highlands, where you’ll either be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight home or taken to your chosen accommodation in Nairobi, based on your drop-off preferences.
