Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi Airport-Nairobi Safari Park Hotel and Casino
Depending on your arrival time, you will be picked up and be taken to Nairobi safari park hotel or similar where you will have your dinner and overnight as you prepare for the commencement of your journey the following morning.
Day 2: Nairobi-Sweetwaters.
After breakfast at 7.30am, be picked up from the hotel heading northwards towards Mount Kenya, feel the cool temperature of the region and arrive to Sweet weters Game Reserve for lunch in sweet waters tented camp. In this reserve, you will be able to see the chimpanzee, buffalos and lions. Proceed for the afternoon game drive at river Ewaso nyiro which is known for its boat ridding, back to the camp for both dinner and overnight..
Day 3: Sweetwaters-The Treetops Lodge in Aberdares.
After breakfast, set off for Aberdare National Park, the park is well known for its unique vegetation, arrival at the park will be in time for lunch which will be taken at the outspan hotel, base hotel for treetops. Afternoon will be spent watching wild life at the flood lit Saltlick Water hole. Dinner and overnight at Treetops lodge which is structured on the top of the tree as the name suggests.
Day 4: The Treetops Lodge-Lake Nakuru National Park
At 7.30 am, leave the lodge having taken your breakfast and head to Lake Nakuru National Park, your arrival in Nakuru will be around noon with lunch being taken at Nakuru lodge or similar, proceed for the afternoon game drive in the park where you will see all the big five, in this lake you will admire the flamingoes, both the greater and the lesser ones covering the entire lake hence its name “ The birds sanctuary” or the pink lake. Back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru-Maasai Mara National Game Reserve
After breakfast, continue with morning game drive then leave Lake Nakuru through the great Rift Valley view point where you will see the wonderful eruption of the land as you head to Masai mara Game Reserve arriving for lunch at keekorock lodge or similar followed by afternoon game drive, back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Maasai Mara National Game Reserve
Early in the morning, have your breakfast at the lodge then proceed for a full day game drive in the park where your picnic lunch will be served at mara river, at this river, you will not only enjoy its cool breeze but also its spectacular annual migration of both the zebras and the wildebeest between july and september. Back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Maasai Mara-Lake Naivasha National Park
After breakfast, have the morning game drive followed by the departure for Lake Naivasha, the lake is famous for its boat riding and it is the only fresh water lake among the rift valley lakes in Kenya, arrival will be in time for lunch which will be at Naivasha country club or similar, proceed for an optional afternoon boat ridding at the lake. Back to the club/lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Lake Naivasha-Nairobi
Depart after your breakfast for Hell’s gate National park for the wonders of Kenya as you pass by lake Naivasha to bid bye to the hippos then continue towards Nairobi airport for flight back home or to be left in Nairobi where your safari ends with sweet memories.
