3 Days 2 Nights Samburu Game Reserve
Samburu Game Reserve lies on the arid outskirts of North Central Kenya. This region serves as a homeland for the Samburu tribe, who share a pastoral heritage with the Masai people, their unique nomadic culture and way of life, and their traditional dress of red or brightly colored ''shukas'' or body drapes.
The reserve is known for its rugged and striking landscape. Its southern boundary is bisected by the Ewaso Nyiro River, which attracts animals throughout the day and offers habitats for hippos and crocodiles.
A Samburu safari offers the chance to spot iconic wildlife, including buffalo, lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as species unique to the region such as the Beisa oryx, long-necked gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, Reticulated giraffe, and Somali ostrich. It is also home to over 450 species of birds, including the lesser kestrel, vulturine guinea fowl, and the Taita falcon.
